Efforts Endings & Beginnings Keeneland - Lexington, Ky Movie Sets N.C. Realities

Years earlier, during generational technological transitions, Valerie and I constructed a web presence, whose functionalities drew maniacal national attention.

With this this in mind, Valerie asked if there was a way we could do something great for the State of WV. To honor her request, a five prong approach was incorporated. (This now antiquated website, automobile restorations, along with three others).

To accommodate our plans, we needed a much bigger building, which was delayed until May of 2005. In the meantime, we had to leave multiple un-restored cars outside until the building was completed. Though we were on a roll, unforeseen interests resulted in the selling and then re-purchasing of other restorable automobiles, then selling them again. All at losses.

Horsham, PA July 2005 - Grundy Worldwide is proud to announce that Anthony & Valerie Lacaria took home the First Place in their division at the All-Chrysler Nationals held in Carlisle PA. All at Grundy wish to congratulate them and their stunning 1972 AMC Javelin for achieving such a great accomplishment. The Lacaria's are not exactly new to winning awards. Their 1956 Chrysler Imperial won the same award at the 2003 Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals and was invited back to the "Survivors Area" of the Nationals in 2004 & 2005. The "Survivors Area" is the best in the Nation of un-restored original automobiles...

We had entertained and befriended prominent entities from the religious, business, engineering, law, and law enforcement worlds. All representing high-end cultural and international interests, which took a keen interest in our family and the people of WV. However, our positive efforts ran counter to entrenched interests within a State, which would soon face the reported results of the most dire of societal miseries. An ever-evolving state-wide drug trade.
The bottom right image was taken during our October of 2009 trip on Route 66 with European friends Gretel and Dirk Bensinger. Four months later, I would retire from Verizon Communications with over 30 years of service. A year later, in October of 2010, I was rear ended in Clarksburg WV in Dirk's Mercedes. Needless to say, my career life came to an end, as would our vintage car restorations and my wife's career when she retired to assist me.
