Retired Bridgeport Supervisor Intervenes

A US Forestry Report Complaint is Filed

A U.S. Forestry Complaint was filed by a Retired City of Bridgeport Public Works Supervisor Mason Steele on July 13, 2004. Mr. Steele's Forestry Complaint, (below), mentions two different logging companies.

Logging Company A

On May 3, 2004, the logging of the Corpening Drive slope and retention pond area was completed, marking the first phase of a broader development project. The subsequent deforestation and excavation activities commenced in May 2005, aimed at constructing the Corpening Drive slope and retention pond, along with a proximate 85 partnered acres. This venture involves a collaboration between Platinum Properties, the City of Bridgeport, and the State of West Virginia.

Logging Company B

On July 13, 2004, a forestry complaint was filed while logging operations were being conducted on an adjoining 78.75 acres owned by the Dyer and Chandler families. Despite the initial intent to proceed with deforestation and excavation of these acres as in Logging Company A, such activities ultimately never took place.

U.S Forestry Complaint

The timeline of events leading up to the July 13, 2004, U.S. Forestry complaint can be reviewed Here for context, indicating that the findings from the U.S. Forest Service agents' investigation in July 2004 aligned with my Video Evidence gathered in November 2003.
